TELA is the first complete digital guide dedicated to Italian tailorings and was founded with the aim of re-evaluating an important branch of Italian craftsmanship - so much appreciated abroad - through the combination of tradition and innovation.
The ease and fluidity of use, the little space occupied on the device, the precision and immediacy of the navigator function, make TELA the ideal tool for the Gentleman that is looking for craftsmen, more or less known, from who to be sewn exclusive bespoke garments, totally handmade in Italy.
The service offered by TELA is multilingual, a feature that aims to include the app also in the tourism industry: to date, on social networks there are millions of Italian style's fans (sartorialist addicted), coming from all over the world and, for most of them, it is really difficult to know and / or reach the small workshops often located in alleys outside the city center and not adequately reported.
Moreover, after having carried out the study and research work necessary for the realization of the project, it has come out that most of the Italian tailors do not present, to date, not even a contact email address; very negative condition for the aforementioned tailors, which restricts their turnover to a local market.
With TELA this problem is canceled because it provides the digitization (and therefore internationalization) of the tailoring, necessary to be competitive on the international market, providing all the contact data and a guide service, available all over the world and within reach of smartphones.
